Take a walk past the window of @haywoodmoonlaw in Whiting Street to see what is revealed each day throughout advent. All of the items inside have been sewn by our children. They did a fabulous job & they'd love to win best display too! #adventcalendar2022 #CountdowntoChristmas
KS2 children who attend After School Club have enjoyed making the Christmas window display for @haywoodmoonlaw again this year. Voting now open. We need your help. Lovely morning for the #BikeTrain from Marham Park, and we were delighted to be joined by new riders, plus special guest Claire Ling from the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership. #ActiveTravel https://t.co/7mc0sv38a9
We must be heading towards the start of Advent and our count down to Christmas as the children in Early Years have been busy making the salt dough decorations to hang on the school Christmas tree. We look forward to seeing the decorations when they are finished. https://t.co/eFVJigrWh9
We all had great fun welcoming Tommy from @RSMusicSchool to lead our music assembly this morning. We explored the sounds made by different instruments used in a rock band, had fun keeping the beat and used musical terminology such as acoustic, bass and synthesiser. #MusicMonday https://t.co/HS7UFwK5dn
Happy St Edmunds Feast Day from us all. We started our celebrations early enjoying Mass with our school community on Friday & in true St Eds tradition we shared cake too! A free St Edmunds Day activity pack can be found here https://t.co/AViLeGFG3j #StEdmundsDay @BuryStEdBeyond https://t.co/uXBFW2xg9Q
It was great to be able to gather a group of our Yr5 and 6 children together before school this morning to start to hang the gorgeous decorations that they had made on the Christmas tree on Angel Hill. If you're passing, go and take a look https://t.co/O64W1w2655
We can't wait for you to join us tomorrow. Let the celebrations begin! https://t.co/AHo5ajkEbo
It wasn't just the children who joined in today's odd socks fun! We've generated lots of talk, smilies & giggles with our odd socks today. A great talking point to start important discussions about celebrating our differences & reaching out if we identify any bullying occuring. https://t.co/faaJRVa600
Socks, socks and plenty more socks! Not a matching pair in sight! #OddSocksDay #AntiBullyingWeek https://t.co/fCkBWRj30I
So glad we moved our child the best thing we could have done, lovely service today both Heads speak from the heart.
I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for our child, we were so worried about the transition because of his additional needs but everything has run so smoothly and he is very happy.
I am so impressed with the way the children are conducting themselves, they are so focussed and want to achieve. Their class teacher has given them so much self-belief.
We ask you to extend our thanks and congratulations to everyone from the school who was involved in the carol service at the Sudbury library. We have known about music at the school right the way through our almost 40 years in Sudbury, so in that sense Saturday’s event was no surprise. In this day and age, however, it is simply glorious to see children performing with their school like this.
A big thank you for making St Edmund's school such a wonderful school for our children to go to.
