ICT Technician

Hours:                37 per week, full time, 8:15 – 4:15                            

Salary:               Grade 4 Point 9 (£24,054)

We are seeking to appoint a full time, permanent IT Technician to assist in the maintenance of the Federation’s ICT network infrastructure and to assist and provide technical support for all network users. The successful candidate will provide on-site support to both schools in the Federation.  While previous school-based working experience is desirable it is not essential, however, applicants called for interview will be expected to show an understanding of the challenges of working in a school environment and the different needs presented by staff and students.

The postholder will work liaise with our IT network advisor, providing first-level support for ICT hardware, network and application issues. They will unpack, configure and roll out new software/hardware, maintain the Schools’ printers and photocopiers, and support audio-visual equipment.
